A downloadable Prototype for Windows, macOS, and Linux

Disclaimer: This is an extremely early prototype to test the idea of an action-based single-player healing game. There are still bugs, issues, and mechanical inconsistencies. Please keep this in mind when testing.

This is an academic project of the h.da / University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt. With this prototype, we want to test how to innovate the healer role and make it more attractive in Single-Player games.

ResurrAction aims to be a quirky Party-Building Rogue-Like Adventure in which you need to keep your party members alive and well, all while managing your constitution and keeping an eye out for your position in battle. Pick your fights wisely and know when to retreat, or else you may lose an important teammate! But don't thread even if your party should get wiped. You can always find new comrades in your hometown Inn and start a new run towards the Necromancer's castle.

We try to re-design the classical healer role in Single-Player games by pushing the boundaries of the healer playstyle from “one-button-heals” to management, coordination, and multitasking through a quirky Party-Building Rogue-Like Adventure.

Known Bugs:

- Issues with collecting Loot and Moving on to the Next Level. -> This is a collision issue. If you should encounter this Bug try to repeatedly pick up the loot, eventually you should be transported to the next level.

- Units aren't receiving healing- -> This can also be because of collisions. Try getting closer to your units and that should do the trick.
